Tommaso Trotto, a PhD Candidate from the Integrated Remote Sensing Studio (IRSS) Department of Forest Resource Management, Faculty of Forestry is the winner of the 2022 Esri Scholarship.
His work focuses on the application of remote sensing technologies to understand the resistance and resilience of various forest types. His work relies on the analysis of lidar point clouds which gives unprecedented three-dimensional insight into the complexity of forests.
